Introducing Omni

Today, we're releasing Omni, the most capable AI partner for every knowledge worker. It's the most powerful way to delegate tasks to and collaborate with long-running agents that work in the cloud, and deliver real results back to you.

We've observed a shift in how AI augments workflows, particularly in software engineering, that has happened over the past three years—developers went from manually pasting code generated by chatbots to building entire products simply by prompting an agent.

This change in how we collaborate with AI is profound—agents can get tasks done end-to-end, producing deliverables or taking action with little to no human input. We built Omni to bring this incredible technology to the rest of knowledge work.

A new way to interact with AI

We reimagined how human-agent interaction should work while designing the Omni interface. While AI has evolved from just chat to fully autonomous agents, our mediums of interaction haven't.

Traditional chat interfaces are an effective, natural way to communicate with AI, but they're designed for synchronous conversation and hands-on collaborative work—not handing off tasks for an agent to work on.

We built Omni's interface with the ways we already delegate work to others in mind—think kanban boards, to-do lists, and Jira tickets. With Omni, handing off work is as simple as adding a task to your agent's board, and coming back to real work done.

An agent that works just like you do

Omni works in the cloud using its own computer, with access to the internet, and the same tools that you use. In Agent mode, Omni can work for minutes or hours—it understands what you want it to do and creates a plan, reasons across the steps, and intelligently uses the right tools to get the task done.

Across tasks, Omni uses the tools your work already lives in—email, calendars, documents, software, and more. It takes action directly inside the apps you use, whether that's sending a follow-up email in Gmail, updating an account on Salesforce, or publishing a document to Notion. The result isn't a draft sitting in a chat window—it's real work, done, in the right place.

Memory makes Omni more capable the more you work with it. It gives Omni continuously evolving context about you—your goals, your preferences, and the way you work—so it can approach every task with the right background. The more you use Omni, the more it operates like someone who genuinely knows your work, not just an AI responding to an isolated prompt.

Chat, built for collaborating on big ideas

AI chat is built around a simple pattern: ask a question, get an answer. That works well for quick lookups—but it falls short when you're trying to think through something complex, explore an unfamiliar space, or plan a project you haven't fully defined yet.

Chat mode is built for that kind of work. It's where you come to ask hard questions, pressure-test ideas, and think out loud with an AI that can actually keep up. Whether you're scoping a new project, drafting a strategy, or just trying to get your head around something, Omni is a sharp thinking partner that pushes the conversation forward.

Chat mode has access to your apps and remembers with Memory, just like Agent mode. And when the conversation shifts from planning to doing, you don't have to switch tools—Agent mode takes over.

Pricing and availability

Starting today, Omni is available in early access to everyone, with three paid plans: Plus, Pro, and Max. We're also offering a Free plan with limited capacity—we'll be working to make it more widely available over the coming months.

In addition to our individual plans, we're working on capabilities for teams to accelerate their workflows with AI and collaborate on agentic projects. At launch, we'll be working closely with select enterprise partners, and we encourage interested teams to reach out.

What's next

Over the coming weeks, we'll be introducing many new capabilities and features to Omni. We've built a strong foundation, and we'll continue to improve it, starting with proactivity and automation-related capabilities.

We're focusused on making Omni the most powerful autonomous agent for producing quality work across every domain. Soon, the idea of doing every task yourself will feel as dated as writing code without an IDE. We built Omni because that shift is already happening, and it shouldn't be limited to engineers.
